Digital logic design series

Course description

A series of two MOOCs introducing digital logic design: the first focuses on the specification and synthesis of combinational and arithmetic circuits, while the second covers the design and synthesis of sequential logic. The second MOOC also introduces hardware description languages, which are essential for designing digital systems due to the complexity of modern designs.

Intended Learning Outcomes

Prerequisites

It is strongly recommended to complete the MOOCs in sequence: start with Combinational logic and arithmetic circuits and then move on to Sequential logic and HDL. The second course builds on the foundational concepts introduced in the first, ensuring a coherent and progressive learning path.

Activities

Each course in the series includes different activities and learning materials. Please refer to the information sheets of each course for more details.
