Through the ClimarisQ game you will be able to explore the challenges related to climate change: you will need to make quick decisions to manage extreme events, balance resources, and try to make your territory more resilient. The goal is to help you experience how complex (but also engaging!) it is to find concrete solutions to global challenges such as climate change.
Why are we suggesting this game?
We often talk about climate change, but we rarely have the opportunity to “experience” the consequences of our choices firsthand and see, even if through a simulation, what it means to balance environmental, economic, and social factors.
ClimarisQ is a free game, also available in English, that puts you in the position of someone who must make difficult decisions. There is no need to be an experienced gamer: all you need is curiosity and a willingness to get involved.

To get started
- Choose the starting year and the stringency of the climate targets;
- Select a territory to manage;
- At the beginning of the game, you will be offered a tutorial. We recommend completing it to understand the game mechanics.
During the game
Take note of some of the most important decisions you face (for example: whether to prioritize prevention or to make trade-offs).
Note if there is a moment when you are surprised by the consequences of your choices.
